I'm now more confused than ever, but I've written down (how quaint! <g>)
everyone's opinions, and I'm researching the distributions you all
mentioned.
I think I should be done by the end of the year, LOL.
Still, I'm finding it very refreshing to be offered "choices" with Linux
rather than
the "Here. This is what it is, what you used to have doesn't work any
more. Now pay us."
that I've gotten for years with MS Windows
