Perhaps you missed trying these features: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/93546 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/93002 Ubuntu OOo (with apologies to Matthais Klose & team) has serious issues in the wizard department (see above) & until the bugs are resolved I'd recommend loading and installing the *non-java* version of OOo from the OOo website instead. [disclaimer: both of those are my bugs & yes I run Ubuntu: Dapper, Edgy & Feisty and am an avid supporter of Ubuntu code *and* I run both Ubuntu & "official" versions of OOo] > Wi-fi support is greatly improved in this version allowing you to > connect more easily to an existing network. It takes max. 15min to get it up and running (depending of the > speed of the computer of course) but it's really easy! It took me 11 hours to upgrade a system from Ubuntu Edgy to Fiesty yesterday (and today). A fresh install will take 2-3 hours w/updates & setup on an older machine. Please don't spread the 15min setup nonsense. I've never seen a 15 minute linux install, even on a super fast machine. > > --- Nomax. -- Please top post --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
