Not sure if "flashing" is the correct word, but when I open a .doc
format in OO, the whole of the text flashes on and off the screen.
Using XP Pro SP2 and Bat! mail client.
Anyone else noticed this, and any fix?

Yes John, it happens here too sometimes, but only while OOo is loading a file.
Also sometimes when I go to another part of a larger spreadsheet.
Another thing that may be linked: when a window falls of the screen,
OOo doesn't show the text as it should when I scroll down (e.g. Help
file).
