I don't know about Windows, but in Linux it's easy to change the contents of a CD ISO file. In Windows, you can always copy the files off the CD, change a package or two and then create another ISO.


Their are tools in windows, that will allow you to manipulate an ISO directly. If you copy and paste a bootable CD, it will no longer be bootable, as the "boot image" will no longer be their, this is seperate from the file system.
