Dear Dan I opened the file that is called Open Office 2.2 Installation files
on my desk top when i open it, there is a myriad of file code names. I have
no idea which one to open to get the word processing program.
I read what you asked me to read over and over. Once previously on another
computer the shortcut for this part just went right onto the desk top and I
could open it now it is a question of hunting and pecking for it. Please
can you be more specific. Thank you so much. Patricia

But have you installed it? If it was downloaded to your desktop,
you should have an icon on it for this file. Double click the icon to
begin the installation process. I recommend you go back to the
download page (http://download.openoffice.org/2.2.0/). On the right
side of that page is a column of links under Additional Information.
Click the Set Up Guide link. Read it before installing this program.
