Oops, sorry I didn't see "Re:" (I've just joined the ML few hours ago, too.) Well, in that case, I can't think of much reason, other than if you have multiple version of OOo installed for some reason, and your uninstaller somehow not uninstalling right files. Also, try wiping contents temporary directory. (C:\Documents and Settings\[yourusername]\Local Settings\Temp ; it is normal that you cannot delete some files there.) I have also seen some cases that your old installation file stays there which launches old setup executables.
