Then my guess is that you didn't uninstall it. Or you installed 2.2 and
still have 2.04 on the system and your file associations are still
pointed to the 2.04 program.

Turn off whatever it is that MS uses to restore your system - I can't
remember what they call that. Uninstall *all* OpenOffice applications
via the Control Panel, then install 2.2.

If it still gives you problems then download Ccleaner and clean your
registry. It's a good program - I use it to clean all the crap out of my
customer's Windose machines. http://www.ccleaner.com/
