Hi Kim
As MS Word formats are proprietary and secret, the conversion is not
100% and formatting errors are know to occur.
Do you have the same fonts installed on your computer as the original
document contains? Wrong fonts could conceivably explain the missing Ks.
Is it possible to allow others to look at the file? If it is not
confidential, could you put it on a website somewhere? Others have used
http://www.mytempdir.com/ Sending it as an attachment to the mailing
list is likely to fail as attachments are normally stripped off by the
list server.
