In that case, the following procedure (among several others) works : «Alt + 0243» (i e, hold the «Alt» key down and press 0, 2, 4, and 3 in succession on the numerical keypad (with numlock on !) and then release in order to obtain the glyph ó. If you want the uppercase letter, type «Alt + 0211» and then release....
