style' for level 1, there probably isn't selected 'Heading 1'.
If not, and you do select it, it will solve your problem.

Indeed, indeed, that was the solution, it had to be something like that!!!

By the way, I was probably the first person to publish a book in '03 that
was produced entirely from OOW>pdf>print skipping DTP altogether. Don't
ask me what it took, but it worked out fine.
