Two things to remember about removing OpenOffice.org from your
computer under XP. First, close the Quickstarter program running in
the System tray. It is an icon with three birds flying on a blue and
gray background. (Right click it, and select Close.) Second, go to
the Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs. You should be able
to remove it just like any other program.
