Hi,

NeoOffice also has some features 'missing' from OpenOffice such as the ability to open the new MS Office 2007 files, open xls macros etc There is a lost of these extra features at <http://www.neooffice.org/ neojava/en/features.php>

Please advise.

OpenOffice is the latest version (2.2), and requires that you have X11
installed (it's on your install disks). If you're used to Unix
software, you will have no trouble with it.

NeoOffice is generally a step behind (2.1) and runs a bit slower than
OpenOffice (as if you could tell on these Core 2 Duo processors! :-).
However, it has a much more Mac-like interface -- so if that's
important to you, you would prefer NeoOffice.

Personally, I keep both versions kicking around. Try them both and see
which one you like better.
