This issue refers to plain text links, which work for me (OOo 2.2 on
Fedora Linux 5).
I think the problem with button links is filed here:

There is a workaround under that issue that also works for me: add a
rectangle and assign it an interaction of "Go to document"; Internet
links work there also.
The button is strictly for looks at this point, and you could easily
draw your own button using the drawing tools instead of using the form
control.
