When copying formulae, if you do not want the cell reference to change
then prefix the cell ref with $.
e.g. if in cell b1 you have a formula =a1+a2 then copying b1 to b2 will
result in b2 holding the formual =a2+a3. i.e. it increments the
references relative to the original. If what you need is the exact same
formula to be copied then make the formula in b1 =$a$1+$a$2. When you
copy it to b2 it will stay the same.
