Abort. What version of Windows are you using - exact version type please, particularly if it is Vista. Google and Microsoft's support & KB's shows that 'Error 1335' seems to be quite common in Windows & not specifically OOo related. Some quick suggestions: 1. Check your OOo download file using MD5. See: http://www.openoffice.org/dev_docs/using_md5sums.html http://download.openoffice.org/2.2.0/md5sums.html 2. If the md5 sum is incorrect please download OOo again & recheck that md5sum. Note: you may wish to turn off your antivirus program during the download and during the install, however I'd advise against doing anything else on the system until the download & install is complete. Be sure to turn your AV back on afterwards. 3. If the md5 sum is correct then work on cleaning up your system prior to install. Suggestions: - defrag your hard drive - clean out your temp & cache files - run system file checker to ensure that your basic install files are not corrupted. - run a antivirus scan of your system - reboot - attempt to install OOo again. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
