Greetings,

Thank you for your dedication to this great product and its community.

I am running Windows XP SP2 and have attempted to download Open Office
ver. 2.2.

I am getting this error message at the end of my installation:

Error 1935. Error during installation of assembly 'policy.1.1.cli_types
,publickeyToken="ce2cb7e279207b9e",version=8.0.0.0",culture="neutral".

Any ideas on how to successfully install?

Thank you!
Christopher

From another member on this list :

" Error 1935 has to do with an interaction between the installation
and anti-virus software which is running. In such cases the following
steps are required. Make SURE you complete one step before going to
the next one!!!

1) Disconnect from the internet. (If on dial-up, remove the phone line
from the computer; if on broadband remove the RG-45 cable; if on
WiFi, remove the WiFi connection.)
2) Close your anti-virus program and firewall. (Turn both of them
off.)
3) Install OpenOffice.org.
4) Restart your anti-virus and firewall programs. (THIS IS VERY
IMPORTANT!!!)
5) Reconnect to the internet."

HTH, /paul
