This is not possible as NeoOffice uses a licencing (GPL) that is
incompatible with OOo (LGPL). The OOo developers always would have been
grateful for any contributions from the NO developers but they decided
not to contribute. To avoid misunderstandings: this is perfectly OK but
on the other hand I wanted to make clear that the fact that no
contributions from NO came into the OOo code base is not caused by the
OOo project.

So the brave Mac developers that wanted to have their code contributed
to OOo had to work in parallel to NO, even if they might have preferred
a cooperation. I can't see that supporting them now with some full time
developers is a shame. It's just the deserved appreciation they now
receive from the OOo project.

Ciao,
Mathias

I use it for the OOo lists and only rarely read other mails sent to it.
