Are you planning to make available all or subset of your templates to
the community under lgpl or pdl license?
You can use document converter wizard for mass converting. You can copy
yopur templates from your user directory whitin user folder of
OpenOffice.org... /home/.OpenOffice.org/user/templates of something
similar (under Linux).
