[users] problem with making address labels

I am using Open Office 2.0 on a PC running Windows 98.  I have created a 
database, and gone to the label format (file - new - labels).  
Everything is set up as should be, but I cannot get the data to merge 
into my labels.  The 'data to field' icon doesn't do anything.
