The way to do this is to add the word to a user-dictionary of the respective language. When adding it you can manually specify all hyphenation points by inserting a '=' character. If there is only one '=' character at the end of the word it means the word should not be hyphenated. Since this approach does not change the language spell checking and thesaurus will still work as usual. See the dialog "Tools/Options/Language Settings - Writing Aids" to access the user dictionaries. Otherwise a character attribute like 'don't hyphenate this' would be nice but we do not have sth. like that yet.
