I was going to suggest the readme file, but that seems to be a worthless waste of disk space... And you are correct; the installation instructions (http://download.openoffice.org/common/instructions.html#linux) could be a bit more clear. Perhaps: # Delete any rpm files that do not apply to your system. For example, on a Fedora Core 3 system, delete any rpms specific to another distribution such as openofficeorg-suse-menus-1.9.79-1.noarch.rpm *in the 'desktop-integration' directory*.[1] That said; you (or I or anyone) can help by filing an issue: http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html or joining the documentation project. [1] and that 'openofficeorg-suse-menus-1.9.79-1.noarch.rpm' is now: openofficeorg-suse-menus-2.2-9119.noarch.rpm It seems as if the installation and other OOo site pages have note been updated for quite some time. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
