My problem is that I can't even open writer. When I go to Writer to open it, a window comes up and says access denied . I just wanted to do some letter writing. I can go into Base and Calc just fine, but I can't open Writer. I have MSWord I can use, but I like OpenOffice. I just don't understand why I can access the other programs, but not writer, It's almost like it's blocked from my computer. I just finished a college class, we had to do MSWord, Access, and Excel assignments. I did all of mine on OpenOffice just fine. I enjoyed using it so much that I told everyone in the class about it. Not to mention I got all A's. Hopefully you can help, so I can continue using it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dan Lewis<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Cc: Donna Lefurgey<mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, May 22, 2007 5:51 PM Subject: Re: [users] Using openoffice 2 2 access denied?

Are you saying that you can not access Writer by clicking File then New and then Text Document? Or, is your problem that you can not email a document once you have created it? Have you created a document and password protected it perhaps by accident? Dan
