Due to the move to M$ Exchange Server,
anything that is a priority, please phone.
You look like a fool with this sig.
After 9+ years of running Exchange for my company I can say that your
company either can't afford professional IT stuff (or contractor) or is
stupid enough to hire some amateur. In either case, using Google's or
Yahoo's free e-mail as corporate e-mail backbone should fix that.
K. Palagin.
I don't care about the sig, the move has lost mail, lowered productivity
and just been a mess. I have never seen some messages that my boss has
emailed me. Same goes for my boss. This has been confirmed by phone
conversations. Even confirmed by IT staff.
It isn't Local IT, it is some management decision. Local IT want to go
back to pop but are not allowed to. People responsible for the server
refuse/are not allowed to come to our location. The local people even
want to provide pop or imap access but are not allowed.
We are not a full Microsoft shop so all the Linux users are left using
OWA or other methods but outside Web mail is not an option. Heck, even
forwarding is not allowed anymore.
I have timed my mail access to over two hours to get my mail from the
time I start to access the Exchange server to when I have finally gotten
all my mail moved to my local machine and sorted. If there is something
that has to be done now, it is to late.
If you can tell me how I can access Exchange server with Thunderbird (No
imap or pop), then please tell me.
