Hi John,
This usually happens to me when I've applied paragraph formatting to the
text, instead of to the style. The paragraph formatting on the text
takes precedence, and applying 'Default' (which in my opinion should
work) doesn't help. Sometimes changing to another style (eg Text body)
and back again fixes the problem.
Regards,
Naomi

Suddenly I am no longer able to apply some styles correctly. I first
noticed it with the Heading style. I changed it to 16 points Bold and
the text changed to Bold, but the font size remained unchanged. I tried
changing the style back to Default and then reapplying the Heading
style, but it stubbornly refused to change the point size. I also
applied Default formatting from the menu and then reapplied the Heading
style, but nothing I could do would get the point size specified in the
Heading style to apply to the paragraph.
Later I discovered that if I retype the heading text on another line
(one with the Default style applied), then apply the Heading style the
text correctly changes to 16 point Bold. The refusal to change point
size only occurs when you apply a style to text, then modify the style.
Other attributes of the modified style will automatically apply to the
text in the paragraph, but not any change to the point size.
Looks like a bug. Has anyone else seen this?
