I don't know where to address this; I haven't found any appropriate place for
it, so there I go. I bit-torrented CD#1
(ooo_220_win_lin_mac_install_20070424.iso) and CD#3
(openoffice.org_extras_20070328.iso).
a.. First of all, the Windows version of OOo2.2 in CD#1 is corrupt as the
pre-installation check warns before installing. The seagulls can't even deploy
their wings.
b.. The extras CD#3 is deceiving because it doesn't include any dictionary,
contrary to what the download page says. The comprehensive archive dictionary
(PackFull_v2.zip) is only 40 MB, and the ISO is only about 450 MB (plenty of
room left, that is).
c.. Language packages could also be included in the extras CD#3 (about 15 MB
each, again with much space unused).
I hope this is useful. All the best, and keep doing this good job with
OpenOffice.org.
