Dan, I would suggest spreadsheet, which is what I do. I can add movies to the bottom of the column, then sort on the first column -- BAM! -- list is ordered again. I would suspect a database would be even more versatile, but require a little more thought to be done right. The spreadsheet was just very easy to do.
