The Mac version 2.2 is designed to work ONLY with OS X 10.4 or later.

Dan

Hello,

The good news is that there _is_ a Panther/PPC version of 2.2.1
ftp://ooopackages.good-day.net/pub/OpenOffice.org/MacOSX/2.2.1rc2_20070525/
you may chose the french version if you wish (look for PPC_install_fr
- en-US is the english version, better not use the en-GB)
the lesser good news is that it is a Release Candidate, not a stable version.
So you can use it, but better not for production or something sensible such.
Use at your own risk (I use RC's too, because no stable version of 2.2
is available in Dutch, and I run in few if any problems till now).
