The only thing I use MS Publisher for is the tiling output for posters and other larger sizes - larger than letter size or legal size. Anyone out there have a free program that will tile the print? Even the Adobe products do not tile the print. How can an average person print a 11" by 17" or 22" by 34"????? on a standard printer. No average person can afford the price of those printers, and going to the "print shop", like Staples, and print out this stuff is also out of league of many for over the 11"by 17". The 22" by 34" was quoted for almost $40. Now Walmart.com has good prices for posters online. 20" by 30" is about $16. So you see, I really am looking for a way to have tiled output on a laser printer, such as a Laserjet 4m or a color Laserjet 2600n. Maybe some one would develope on for Writer. ------------------ Would the following help? 1)Create your complete version for the document you want tiled (one tile). 2)Save it as a jpeg or as a pdf 3)Open another document and create as many frames as you need on the page (your tiles) 4)Insert your saved jpeg or pdf into each of the frames Print as needed.
