You mean something like a response that I just read on the Ubuntu
mailing list (with apologies to the author):

"Since kbiff is based on biff, I would think gnome has something similar
if you are using Ubuntu"

I fully agree that providing a useful search information on Google, and
on this list especially, a link to the information on the OOo website is
ineed the best way to go. I use the OOo website nearly every day and
have to admit that I still find it hard to find information at times,
and difficult to navigate during the best of times (not to mention the
wide screen requirements on many pages).
