You mean something like a response that I just read on the Ubuntu mailing list (with apologies to the author): "Since kbiff is based on biff, I would think gnome has something similar if you are using Ubuntu" :-) I fully agree that providing a useful search information on Google, and on this list especially, a link to the information on the OOo website is ineed the best way to go.
