Hi Paul,
That feature is already enabled. The comments that the teacher made show
up in little red boxes outside the text when viewed with M$ Word Viewer (the
alternative I've started using out of necessity). She in no way edited my
text, so there are no changes to be tracked. Any other ideas?

That sounds more like comments. In that case, hit F5 to see the explorer and
look under the 'notes' section...
Keep the entire list on the email since there are plenty of others that can
assist.
