Well, if they are also supplying support, it's not really a problem to me.

Also, some people may not have the bandwith necessary to download the
200+MB needed to install. So getting it for $20 on a CD might be worth it.

What if you are offering OOo with 200 MB of icons and photos and other
cool stuff that you don't have with the basic installation?

Let's say it would take someone, I don't know, two hours to locate all of
that? Let's say the person makes 20$/hour. That's $40. Is it worth it to
get it on CD for $20?

Of course, this assumes that the person knows that all of those extras are
available, and knows where to get them and how to install them properly
to have them work with OOo. That's a big assumption, in my view.

It's not about the price. It's about the value provided. Not everyone see
value in the same things, and people are willing to pay a little bit more
for something that has greater value to them.
