Cool & thanks for finding that simple solution! I just tested & you are 100% correct. From the help file: <quote> Always use automatic font color for screen display Displays fonts in OpenOffice.org using the system color settings. This option only affects the screen display. </quote> That is why when others reported that the colors showed up when they printed, or exported to PDF :-) I guess when you, and others, deleted their .openoffice* profile directory this was set back to it's default of being unchecked.
