I am using OO 2.2 Base. I first created a DB by linking it to a
spreadsheet. Afterwards, I realized that all forms created this
way would be read-only. I then created a new DB with fresh info
and no link, but I still cannot create forms which are not
read-only. I need to be able to modify data using forms. I have
made sure that the three "do not allow (modification, etc.)" boxes
in the wizard are UNchecked. I still cannot get the forms to be
editable. Is this a bug???

Did you create a Primary key in all of the tables you created? If
you did not, you will not be able to add or modify data in any table
without a primary key.
Have you read the "Getting Started with Base" chapter in the
Getting Started Guide? It is available at
http://documentation.openoffice.org/manuals/oooauthors2/. This chapter
is presently being revised, but it is not ready for everyday use just
yet.

Just a point, Bobby, the heading on the forms is somewhat confusing.
Although it says "Read Only" it is the form which is read only and not the
data.
