Open folder named "Open Office.org 2.2 Installation Files" on the desktop, find "SETUP", double-click it and follow on-screen prompts to get OpenOffice installed. In order to actually use OpenOffice click Start button, Programs, OpenOffice. (Or just click Start button (round thing with 4 color flag) and start typing Writer, Calc, Impress (depending on wheter you want to do text, spreadsheet or presentation) - Vista will find it for you).
