If you are using Windows, use Start > Programs (for Win 98, 98
SE, and ME) or Start > All Programs (for XP and probably Vista). Then
find the folder containing the OpenOffice.org applications. Enter
this folder. Use the right mouse button to drag and drop the icons
you want to the desktop. You will be asked if you want create a
shortcut. (You do.)
In Windows, you also have the Quickstarter icon in the System
tray near the computer clock. (It is three birds flying on a blue and
gray background.) When you right click the Quickstarted program, a
menu appears from which you have several choices.
