To Dave Barton,et al: To bring information more up to date on Dragon
Naturally Speaking, Both Nuance and Knowbrainer have announced upgrades,
although only incremental, that make the product work better with OOo.
Version 9.1 of DNS and of Knowbrainer is out, now! And are down loadable
for those who already have ver.9.

Dear Sirs, I have Open, org. what my question I have also Dragon
Naturally Speaking program. can I put that program to work on my open
office if so how do I do it. thank for and help. DonnaRae Riley
While I have no first hand experience of Dragon Naturally Speaking,
there have previously been posts to this list that suggest it does work
with OOo (OpenOffice.org), but not very well.
Here is one example:

You might wish to search the list archives here:

I would recommend that you contact Nuance http://www.nuance.com and ask
them to add OOo compatibility to Dragon Naturally Speaking, in the same
way that they have included MS Office compatibility. The more requests
they receive for OOo compatibility, the more inclined they will be to
add it.
Sorry this does not directly answer your question, because the complete
solution is with Nuance not OOo.
Dave
