I've pretty much always used ps2pdf to create pdf files. I tried the OpenOffice.org built-in pdf export function once or twice and decided that I didn't like the results and continued to use ps2pdf without giving it much more attention to thought. > I wish there was more control over font > embedding, for example :-( Depending on the job that you're doing, you may be happier with the results that you can obtain by using Scribus instead of OpenOffice.org. Frankly, I use Scribus many times more often that OpenOffice.org but that's because I use it as the initial "creative" step in making layouts that go through process colour separations, impositions and rips for offset presses. I use OpenOffice.org for creating memos, fax cover sheets and invoices. OpenOffice.org is a dandy program for what it's for and I recommend it highly. I wouldn't write a letter using Scribus, but I wouldn't layout a book, magazine, flyer or brochure with OpenOffice.org either. -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Melville Sask ~ http://www.melvilletheatre.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
