Hmmm. The digest that turned up here (issue 5544) was weird - it claimed to contain a 3.8Mb email from gunter, which my mailer (pegasus) won't actually let me see (don't know why). The sheer size of the message meant the OOo mail server timed out while sending it here - I got about 8 copies as a result :-) So I'm not sure you're right about attachments being removed.
