Alan, if what I am told three times is true, Microsoft makes most of its money from its Office products, in which Outlook is included ; that, I suspect (along with Kirill), is the reason why this application is not automatically made available with Vista. If you feel you need this type of computer-based email client, let me suggest Mozillas Thunderbird, which works, I understand, with Vista. You can download a version in the language you desire (English British ?) here :
