I've tried subscribing to the email version and the newsgroup version
and definitely like the newsgroup format better. I can echo NoOp's
comments. Comes down to personal preference, I guess.
Frank: Thanks for your suggestion. However in Linux, using Thunderbird
2.0, I get the same behavior Brian described. Perhaps it's Thunderbird,
not MS. At any rate, despite just graduating from college, there's an
old geek streak inside me that cringes at the slightest bit of extra
mail being sent.
I get the same behaviour on Mac OS X
