I just tested in 2.2.1RC3 (linux) and drop caps works just fine on a 2 line paragraph. For Charles: When you Format|Paragraph|Drop Caps and click "Display drop caps" you aren't getting anything in the preview pane or in the paragraph itself? cc'd to Charles.
