Dear Openoffice

As in Version 2 the Document Recovery window is too big, I cannot get to the buttons at the bottom of the window, see attached pdf file. I am not going to change my display just for this one programe (my Wife carries out work station assessments and makes sure we can read the font on the screen, it has to be over 5mm, health and safety guidelines. Can you make the window smaller??????

As is usual for attachments, your PDF did not make it through the list processor to the list, so I (at least) cannot see directly what you mean. But I assume that you mean that the window is so big that even when you have dragged it by its title bar to the top of the screen, you still cannot access the buttons at the bottom of the window.

It seems you are using Windows. If so, there is a workaround for this, using the keyboard rather than the mouse.

o Make sure that the recovery window has focus. (Use the mouse or Alt+Tab to achieve this.) o Hold down Alt and press the spacebar. This should bring up the control menu - though you may not see it if it is also off the screen. o Press "M" to select "Move". The cursor should change to a four-way arrow. Now press the keyboard arrow keys repeatedly to move the window position and bring the bottom of the window into view: an outline shows the position the window will take. Once the outline shows that the window will move to a suitable place, press Enter to locate the window at that position. (You can cancel the process by pressing Esc instead.)

In this way you can move the window upwards until its title bar is off the top of the screen - something you cannot do by dragging alone, of course. Now you can return to the mouse and operate the buttons normally.

I trust this helps.
