I've downloaded open office 2.2.1 and unpacked it.
During installation I get an error message:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
asks me to find a file 'openofficeorg20.msi' which can't be found.
Any suggestions?

'openofficeorg20.msi' belongs to the installation files of an older
version of OpenOffice.org 2.0.x (perhaps 2.0.4), that you had
installed before updating to OOo 2.2.1.
Provided that you have installed the right/actual Windows Installer
[ http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B893803&x=13&y=10 ]:
Sometimes Windows Installer gets problems with its database and can't
work with e.g. openofficeorg22.msi (to install OOo 2.2.1).
By installation of version 2.0.x there was created a *.msi like
'2bbe35.msi' in the folder C:\Windows\Installer (WinXP).
Checking 'properties' of this *.msi should show:
'Installation database'
'OpenOffice.org 2.0' [not 2.2!]
Clicking right at this *.msi will propose:
- install
- repair
- uninstall
(or something similar, I've only German version of XP)
- If you have still the installation files of OOo 2.0.x you may try to
'repair'.
- If OOo 2.0.x doesn't appear in the Windows control panel, I would
propose, to try 'uninstall'.
- you could also have a try by using Ccleaner
[ http://www.ccleaner.com/ ] regarding OOo 2.0.x.
Another way could be, to use the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
[ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301/EN-US/ ] ...
... or have a try with:
<msiexec /i C:\[path_of_unpacked_files]\openofficeorg22.msi>
