Greetings
I have just tried twice to download open office 2.2.1 which downloaded
fine but upon installation an error message came up......
NSIS ERROR
Installer is corrupted or incomplete.
It may be I did something wrong as I'm new to computers but I thought
I'd talk to you incase it is a problem.
Kindest regards <M>
P>S I do enjoy using your office program, possibly not to it's fullest
potential, but it's all I require
First try the following:
1. Disconnect your computer completely from the internet.
2. Disable your Antivirus (AV) and firewall software.
3. Try the install again.
4. Regardless of the result, restart your AV and firewall and reconnect to
the internet. Never leave your system connected to the net if your AV and
firewall are not both running properly.
If the above worked, hoorah. Stop reading now.
If not, read the Microsoft article at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301. Download and run the program
it talks about.
If you still can't install OpenOffice then let us know and we'll have
another think.
