My system is set to using centimetres by default. When I type "12pt"

It works this way for me as well using 2.2.1 on Vista .... In fact it works
when you enter any unit of measure, then tab off. EG enter 1in, and it will
convert 5.08cm (cm's is the unit of measure for me) ...
