Most attachments don't make it through to the list. I can take a guess that you need to add a fourth parameter to your vlookup function. This one tells the function that the list is not sorted. The default is a sorted list.

 = vlookup(a1;b5:c55;2,false)

If this is not the problem, paste the formalae that you're using into your reply.
