Hi,
If I have a huge paragraph of emails going across the page, how do I get them in a single, alphabetically sorted column with only one commaed email in each row?

(The emails I have with peoples full names before the emails won't be on this page).
Cheers Tom

Are these in a Writer (text) document? If not, copy them there first. It is not completely clear what you currently have and exactly what you need, so I'm going to have to guess a bit.

Use Edit | Find & Replace... . In the "Search for" box, enter just a comma. In the "Replace with" box, enter "\n" (without the quotation marks): this is the code for "new line". Now select More Options, and then select "Regular expressions" in the new options you see. Now select Replace All. This should achieve what you need.

The above technique will remove the commas. If you want to keep them, use ",\n" instead of "\n" as the replacement string. Modify this idea further if you wish to remove, for example, single spaces following the commas: put a space after the comma in the "Search for" box.

To sort the column of text, first select it all (Edit | Select All or Ctrl+A). Then use Tools | Sort... to sort your data. If you now copy and paste the data into a spreadsheet, it will appear in cells of a column (if that is what you need).

I trust this helps.
