Please tell me how do I convert a column of figures into currency
i.e. dollars. I can not find a symbol that will complete this
important conversion on my spreadsheet.
You don't have to "convert" anything. Numbers are numbers.
If you mean you are looking at, say, "1234.5", and you want to see,
"$1,234.50", that has been called "formatting" in every computer
language and every computer program I can name for the last 50 years,
and is to be found under the "Format" menu.
