I am using version 2.1 of OpenOffice.org. My problem is : When try to open file word with extension .DOC the program openoffice show me a box where I have to select the filter. The problem is that there isn't a right filter. There is a filter for excel, but there isn't a filter for word. How I can install the right filter? And where can I find it? Hank you for your help If the filter window is being displayed, then I imagine that there is something wrong with the MS Word file and it may have been corrupted in some way. Do you have a version of word in which to check it in?
