In both cases make sure all OOo (OpenOffice.org) programs are closed, including the OOo "Quickstarter" icon in the taskbar tray. 1. When the Document Recovery dialogue appears, press the "Esc" key on your keyboard. Alternatively 2. From the Windows "Start" button select "Run..." and type: "soffice -norestore" (without the quotation marks) in the the command box. When OOo starts, go to the File menu and select "New -> Drawing".
